Made with real clotted cream, these creamy butter shortbread biscuits were a favourite of Queen Victoria. Taken together with The East India Company Staunton Earl Grey Tea, any tea break is transformed into an Afternoon Tea event in the grand British tradition. Biscuits were the most common staple onboard The East India Company’s ships, as they sailed the world. Officers returned with cargoes of fruits, spices, nuts, honey, chocolate; unimaginable riches and mouth-watering treasures.
